What is your favorite car color and why?

You don’t have to choose your favorite car color in general - you can pick a color that you think looks great on a specific car.

My first choice is “ Liquid Copper ” for the Infiniti FX.

I haven’t seen many (or any) other cars that can pull off orange with such elegance.

Second choice is “White Diamond Tricoat” for any Cadillac (with obvious bias)

So what’s your pick?

Jetstream Blue Metallic on the 2009-2011 Corvette ZR1. It looks absolutely stunning in the sun.

It’s a hard choice, but I think I have to go with Violet Blue Pearl which was available on the BE and BH Legacy in Japan. I like how the character of the color changes from a dark blue to an almost purple color.

The closest Subaru has gotten recently is with Plasma Blue Pearl. It’s similar, but not perfect.

Dark Teal Pearl (also called Peacock Blue) is a close second (or maybe it’s a tie). It’s hard to explain the appearance, but I love how it looks. It’s also hard to find a decent photo with a clean car.

White cars look newer longer in my mind. I read recently where “orange” colors are now the most popular choice among men. I can't help but think in 20 years we will see a "liquid copper" crossover and think "that is sooooo (whatever we decide to call this period of time in 20 years)". It will be our generations vinyl roof.

Techno Violet Metallic that BMW sold the E36 (and I’m sure a few other models) in.

Nearly black at some angles and this wonderful vibrant purple from others.

Runner up is Chevy’s Arrival Blue Metallic, which my dad’s truck is painted.

It’s just a really pretty blue.
